The new curriculum reform pay attention to change the status quo past the students accept the knowledge passively, encourage students to actively participate in classroom and diligent hands, willing to explore, and in the process of exploring continue to train students to analyze and solve problems and the ability of cooperation and communication ability. Under the background of the new curriculum reform,situational geography teaching by the teachers’ attention and put into practice constantly, but geography teachers in practice met many problems, such as situational creation only focus on the introduction stage, situation creation cursory, a mere formality,, which is unable to realize the teaching effectiveness and improve the teaching effect of play the real role of situational teaching. Combining his own teaching practice, and refer to a large number of relevant literature, and through the questionnaire survey results were used to analyze the strategies of situational teaching of Geography in high school. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction, mainly introduces the situational teaching of research background, research status at home and abroad, the research purpose and significance, from the need of new curriculum reform, student and teacher need three aspects elaborated the research significance of this study.Second part is the overview of the study of situational teaching strategy. It is mainly about the definition of the concept, the connotation of situational teaching, the connotation of the geography situational teaching, the theoretical basis and the performance characteristics of the study.The third part is about the contents and methods of geographical situational teaching strategy research, mainly has carried on the questionnaire survey to the students, understand the situation and to develop research content, research methods and principles.The fourth part: Study on situational strategy in geography teaching in senior high school, mainly from three expounds the strategies of situational teaching can runs through every teaching link, introduced different types of teaching situation creation and basic way to realize the creation of situational teaching.The fifth part is the significance of the creation of geography classroom teaching,mainly expounds the teaching significance and value of the creation of situational teaching in senior high school geography classroom.
