Functional training to improve the athletes of the neuromuscular control system has a crucial role, the athletes of the core parts of the strength and stability are effectively improve, and strengthen the ability to control the body balance and posture, functional training emphasized in the multi joint, multi angle, multi axis motion of the special simulation operation training, pay attention to the body’s movement transmission chain, enhance the integration of the human body strength strength of, improve ability of action of economic benefits and. At present, many senior high school sports teaching is more inclined to adopt the traditional teaching mode, in the teaching and training too much emphasis on repetitive exercises through a single action to improve the physical quality, teaching effect is not ideal. This study attempts to apply the concept and method of functional training in the process of sports teaching is not only enriches the teaching content, but also the teaching ways and means of innovation by using functional training in high school physical education, to explore the functional training of high school students FMS proficiency test. This is also the purpose of this paper, in order to improve the physical quality of high school students, to better grasp the theoretical and practical basis for motor skills.In this study, literature, expert interviews, experimental method and mathematical statistics and other methods of research and analysis. In Jinhua City, Xingtai high school first grade select two natural classes, one for the experimental class, one for the control class, a total of 134 students, before the experiment to their FMS level test, to ensure that the homogeneity of the two classes. Experimental class of physical education teaching content into functional training and control content of class teaching in accordance with the original curriculum, experimental time is 12 weeks, after the experiment on two classes of FMS level tested again, and were statistically analyzed. The results are as follows:1 After the experiment, in addition to the shoulder flexibility index, the experimental group and the control group in the squat, steps, Yumi Ayumi, straight leg active lift, trunk stabilization push ups and rotational stability index has significant difference(P < 0.05). The experimental group of boys in the squat, lunge, three indexes of trunk stabilization on push ups was significantly better than the control group of boys(P<0.01). The girls in the experimental group were not different from the control group on the two indexes of the shoulder flexibility, straight leg raising and the control group, and the other five indexes showed significant difference(P<0.05).2 Control group after learning through a 12 week Tai Chi FMS test scores changed in steps, straight leg active on four indicators of lift, trunk stabilization push ups, rotational stability is significantly improved(P < 0.05).3 After the experiment, the experimental group, whether in the whole or in the male and female students in the dimension of FMS seven test indicators are significantly improved compared with the previous experiment(P<0.01).Conclusion:1 functional training can effectively improve the level of FMS test in middle school students.2 Taijiquan has a certain effect on the improvement of FMS test index.
