As a compulsory project for junior high school students,the solid ball project occupies an important score in the physical education examination in many regions,and the project is based on strength and other qualities,and requires the whole body energy to be transmitted from the bottom up in the sports chain to the end of the knuckle before throwing it.However,at present,in the junior high school physical education classroom,the solid ball strength training does not fully consider the improvement of the special sports chain and the improvement of the energy base,and there is a dilemma of singleness and blindness in the training method,which makes the training effect unsatisfactory,and the training concept needs to be updated urgently.As a new training concept,functional strength training systematically integrates the phased research results in the field of modern physical training in terms of core strength,power chain,functional movement,etc.,and expands the single scope of strength training in the past,especially in line with the special needs and the comprehensive development of adolescent physical functions.Therefore,this study takes the improvement of the performance of solid ball sports as the starting point,adopts literature research method,expert interview method,teaching experiment method and mathematical statistics method,and takes the effect of functional strength training on the performance of junior high school students throwing solid balls with both hands as the research object,firstly,to build a bridge between functional strength training and solid ball training.By analyzing the realization mechanism of functional strength training to improve the performance of solid balls,the starting point of training is clarified,and the training content is carefully selected based on this,and a systematic,gradual and integrated specific experimental scheme is constructed.The second is to use functional strength training in the physical education classroom of junior high school students to systematically train the solid ball project.By comparing the changes of functional motor screening,physical fitness and solid ball performance before and after training in the experimental group and the control group,the effect of functional strength training was verified,and this paper was made to provide a reference for the integration of functional strength training into school physical education classrooms.The main findings are as follows:1.Functional strength training promotes the proper connection between body function and the specific needs of solid balls.The concept of functional strength training contains the value orientation of "competition" and "health",fully fits the development requirements of "Human Kinematic Chain Theory" and ""School Adaptation Student Theory" for students in terms of skills and health,gives priority to building students’ general physical fitness in training,and then combines with special needs to provide basic services and specialized support for the improvement of students’ solid ball performance.2.Functional strength training has a significant effect on improving the solid ball performance of junior high school students.Functional strength training has the characteristics of project-specific,through the comprehensive integration of factors affecting the performance of solid ball,from the mechanics,motor chain and energy basic characteristics to select the practice methods and means that are suitable for the needs of the project,and implement targeted programs,which can effectively improve students’ solid ball performance.3.Functional strength training effectively improves the functional action screening performance of junior high school students,and can lay the foundation for improving the performance of solid balls.Functional strength training takes the diagnosis of basic action patterns as the starting point,establishes a benchmark for the development of solid ball training plans,and analyzes the range of motion of joints,finds the limitations of muscle groups,and formulates and implements corresponding corrective exercise content,which can repair the weak chain of the human body,correct the wrong action pattern of the human body,realize the reshaping and development of the basic action pattern and prevent the occurrence of sports injuries.4.Functional strength training has a relatively comprehensive positive impact on the development of students’ physical fitness,and lays an energy foundation for improving the performance of solid balls.The solid ball project requires a high degree of coordinated development of multiple physical qualities of the human body as a whole,while functional strength training contains the overall development concept and has the characteristics of"integrating body functions",which can have a comprehensive promotion effect on junior high school students’ strength,coordination,stability and other physical qualities compared with traditional training.5.Functional strength training promotes the economy of the solid ball training effect.Through the scientifically designed and reasonably implemented functional strength training for junior high school students,while realizing the scientific,comprehensive,safe,orderly and sustainable development of students,the problem of singleness and blindness of solid ball training methods is solved.
