| The reform and renovation in Chinese Higher Education System gave birth to independent colleges in 1990s, which, then, evolved into a significant part through over ten-year-long growth. Till July 2014,283 independent colleges had been granted the qualification of higher education enrollment by Chinese government. Hence, the percentage of students in independent colleges accounted for a quite big share, giving a blooming rise of a host of talents with high standards. Thanks to the advancement and abundance of new technology day by day, which has witnessed the progress of computer science and information technology, they largely drive Chinese Educational Informatization forward. For the prominent advantages and characteristics of independent colleges in China, it is well worth taking a close research and analysis on the construction of informatization in order to promote the large educational application in this field. Therefore, it is certain to improve the academic standards, strength as well as competitiveness. Based on the analysis and conclusion of numerous literature reviews, this thesis, combining with the current situation, goes further to make a rounded study on informatization, educational informatization and informationzation in higher institutes in order to achieve a deeper understanding of the current problems, development and tendency in future higher educational informatization.The well-designed questionnaire had been given out to some independent colleges in Hebei province to discover more on the application of information building. Armed with a scientific research method and well-collected response, the author’s purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the development of informationization in independent colleges and then offer a new solution to this particular problem. In this thesis, the well-conducted survey of the current situation provides a first-hand researching material for the author’s safe proposal, that is, top design. It is a new path trying to find out a better strategy to the urgent problem of information development in independent colleges. Finally, a case study has been conducted on informatization in Beijing Jiaotong University Haibin College, one of the well-known independent colleges across China, and is certain to enlighten and encourage more findings in this high-tech area. |
