This research is mainly aimed at the unmarried floating population, especially these who are in front line positions. Aiming to know the status of daily dating interaction, the status and characteristics of the criteria of spouse-selection, the view of marriage, marriage behavior, the influence factors. By contrasting the difference between men and women sex, we can have an analysis of the same and the difference of them in spouse selection, and expand the research field of new generation migrant workers.The study found that the new generation migrant workers have different ideas and options between different genders. From the terms of mate selection criteria, because the unmarried women are in a dominant position in the marriage market, so they have more requirements than unmarried men of their spouse on their job, family background, level of education, income, culture level, personal responsibility and ability. However, the condition of the unmarried men is different. They have more flexible attitude and lower requirement of their spouse, because they have difficulty in looking for a partner in marriage, which caused by the sex ratio unbalance at birth. In particular, there are significant differences between them of age, culture, work, family and regional requirements. From the initiative of mate choice, men have more autonomy and initiative than women. In the attitude toward the parents on marriage behavior, most people choose to take their own opinions and refer to the opinions of their parents. However, there are still twenty percent of men choose to make choice totally by themselves, and nearly twenty percent of women choose to put their parents’ opinion at first. And there is a significant difference between male and female on this problem. It shows that the boys are more autonomous on this problem. At the same time, there are also significant differences in the attitude of the opposite sex when in the face of their favorite heterosexual. Boys are more inclined to take the initiative, while the girls are more likely to deal with the things in a passive way, such as passively waiting, and hint. From the aspects of sexual ideas and sexual behavior, the new generation of migrant workers in different genders have significant differences in the understanding of contraceptive methods, sexual attitudes, as well as the occurrence of sexual behavior. The understanding of contraceptive methods of boys is significantly higher than girls. And in the aspect of sexual concept, the girls have more conservative and cautious attitude towards premarital sex and premarital cohabitation, while the boys are significantly less worried, and have more open attitude. I think that, in order to fund a balance on marriage market, we have to achieve the sex ratio balance. As a result, this will be a long process. But the reasonable structure of population will be more conducive to maintain the stability of the state and society harmony. For unmarried women, the main problem in the marriage market is the lack of the understanding of sexual knowledge, which may be harmful to the protection of their own health. I think it is also very important for teenagers to help them know more about the sexual knowledge, and help them establish healthy sexual concept.
