| China’s modern vocational education thought is the important guiding ideology of the development of vocational education and theoretical basis, at the same time reflects the intrinsic logic and the overall trend of modern vocational education development in our country. In this paper, using the method of literature study, comparative analysis and historical study method and other methods for since the founding of new China’s vocational education thought has carried on the comprehensive collection, sorting and analysis. On the longitudinal, the our country since the founding of the people to date in the time dimension is divided into three important stages:early, during the cultural revolution and the founding period of reform and opening-up of our country the main ideas of vocational education results in the research and analysis; On the lateral, divides into the vocational education thought of the system, three types of system and national policies made a comprehensive analysis and research.
