Purposes of research: Based on the comparison of changes for the elderly’s body and nervous system function before and after intervention,This thesis is concerned on the scientific, safety, practicality, effectiveness of the low-intensity activities program for the elderly. By means of applying evaluation to nervous system function in elderly physical activity, this thesis provides an effective physiology basis for the exercise activities program and also provide the basis for broaden the elderly fitness method. Methods of research: The object of this research is 41 elderly in the West depot, Huimin District, Hohhot, combine the investigations with the testing of their physical function, we carry out an individual activities program for a period of three months. Taking intensity of HR zone for aerobic endurance in OMEGAWAVE system as the elderly’s activity rate, measuring the index of cardiac function, testing the time domains and frequency domains of HRV, OP and brain voltage after stress-stimulated, reaction indicators before and after intervention. We also statistics the dates and evaluation results that generated by OMEGAWAVE system, and then to evaluate the changes of the nervous system function of elderly before and after the exercise intervention. Results of research: After three months intervention of activities for the elderly, we found that there is an increasing number of people with healthy changes of cardiac function, especial compliance about autonomic nervous system with the most obvious increasing number, the average of heart rate significantly decreased after intervention, the time and frequency domain indicators appear benign changes. What’s more, SDNN has a marked increase, the number of vogues superiority increased significantly in autonomic nerve balance, mean rate of TP increase has reached 39.49%, LF/HF has reduced to 1.45, the autonomic nervous of balance status has improved significantly. The number of best central nervous stress adjustment ability significantly increased, the number of people who can be able to withstand moderate and over load have significantly increased, the number of liver detoxification system with low-regulation adjustment ability have an obvious reduce. The average response time was significantly reduced before and after the intervention, Increased from 0.188 s to 0.166 s. Sensor motor neuropathy with system function level index was significantly different before and after the intervention,in fact, it increased from 4.376 to 4.541.Research Conclusions: Three months of individual low-intensity exercise can enhance cardiac function for the elderly. After the intervention, the tension and volatility of autonomic nervous, especially that of vagus account for a large advantage, the balance state of vagus and sympathetic have reached a new dynamic equilibrium, and the level of the overall function improved, this new balance is based on a benign changes. Changes of OP values reflect the central nervous stress regulating ability, bearing the regulating ability of exercise load, regulating ability of the central nervous excitability, regulating ability of cardiopulmonary gas exchange system, regulating ability of liver detoxification function, HPA regulating ability have improved, the reaction time also has been improved, each neuron modulation system function level and health status have been improved significantly. Conclusions of this research reflect the benign changes of the central and autonomic nervous metabolic, which proving that it has a great value for promotion and implementation to carry out the individual low-intensity activities to the elderly.
