With the rapid development of global economy, the talent competition becomes the core competition between countries. Colleges and universities are to cultivate high-qualified talents for the national economic construction. The entrepreneurship education, combined with the professional education, concludes entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial awareness, the spirit of entrepreneurship, enterprise ability. It aims to make the college students enhance their comprehensive quality and realize the comprehensive development in the process of the education. It is a kind of comprehensive educations, collecting pedagogy, psychology, management, economics, law and other disciplines. As a kind of new education idea, the entrepreneurship education belongs to the quality education. The ultimate aim is to improve the entrepreneurial awareness of college students and to cultivate college students’ entrepreneurial spirit.In recent years, with the development of higher education, the number of college graduates in China greatly increased. And our country’s higher education is faced with a very prominent problem, that is, how to ease the difficult employment situation of college students, which becomes the focus of the government, the universities and the society. The experience of developed countries tells us that our country needs to develop the entrepreneurship education and to put emphasis on the cultivation of innovative talents. The report in the 18 th Congress pointed out that "the country must encourage entrepreneurship to create more employment opportunities". Colleges and universities are to cultivate high-qualified talents for the national economic construction, so in such an important historical stage, they need carry out the entrepreneurship education for college students. On the one hand, the entrepreneurship education can effectively alleviate the current college students’ employment problem, on the other hand, it also can effectively promote the development of social economy in our country. as a kind of theory, Entrepreneurship education associates the education thought and education practice. In modern China, people need to cultivate our sense of innovation and entrepreneurship. And through analyzing the status of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities at home and abroad, the country has to speed up the pace of reform.on the basis of full analysis of the related literature at home and abroad and of the current situation of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, this paper shows the problems existing in the entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, analyzes its reason, and concludes corresponding measures and suggestions. In the process of research, the author, as a college instructor, can more clearly understand the reality of entrepreneurship education and put forward the measures.The paper mainly includes four parts.The first part discusses the basic connotation of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. With a basic understanding of entrepreneurship, this part focuses on analyzing the connotation of entrepreneurship education, from the content of entrepreneurship education, the characteristics of the entrepreneurship education, the target of entrepreneurship education. Thus, students can get a comprehensive summary of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education and put forward the theories basis for problems. The second part analyzes the current situation of the entrepreneurship education in universities, mainly from the rise, the development and achievements of the entrepreneurship education. Although entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities in our country has made considerable development and has obtained some achievements, for example, entrepreneurship education has formed a certain pattern, has promoted the reform of personnel training in China, and has reduced the employment pressure of college students, in our country it is still in its infancy compared with some developed countries.The third part points out the problems of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities in our country and the analysis of the causes. Due to the negative effects of traditional education, entrepreneurship education is not only lack of mature theoretical system, fine cultural environment, the corresponding laws, but also is constrained by management systems in colleges and universities. As a consequence, there are more problems in the entrepreneurship education, for example, the universities do not put enough emphasis on entrepreneurship education, do not have cognitive biases of entrepreneurship education, do not get enough resources of entrepreneurship education and do not have the teaching form of entrepreneurship education, etc. The fourth part puts forward effective measures to improve the entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. The country should shift the concept of entrepreneurship education, strengthen the construction of teachers and facilities, optimize teaching mode of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, set up scientific evaluation and incentive system of entrepreneurship education, create a fine cultural environment and build and perfect the social supporting system, etc. The author, as an instructor, discusses the importance of entrepreneurship education and specific measures in teaching mode of the entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities.
