The Strategic Study Of Playing Career Training Function For Secondary Tourism Vocational School

In recent years, with the disappearance of population bonus and the policy adjust of tourist industry as well as the change of economic structure, two results are generated. One is the enrollment size of secondary vocational schools has decreased. And the other one is the old way of school development has became impossible by expanding its size. Meanwhile both the promotion of tourist industry and the implementation of lifelong education for all system ask for more to the career training. Additionally, the inner pressure of development and the outer gravitation of enterprises work together to ask secondary vocational school to keep relying on both diploma education and career training.Through both qualitative and quantitative investigations towards the present situation of secondary vocational schools’ career training and playing vocational training function, this research is aimed in searching the problems and deep reasons so as to find out strategies that can enrich their educating functions and raise their ability serving society. There exists the basis of playing career training function for secondary vocational schools. Besides they can also get more market share with great potential towards resource. However the important function has not been epitomized yet.This author takes Sichuan Tourism School which was the first funded one to explore career training for instance and uses some questionnaires and interviews to investigate and survey basic practice and then analyzes both its advantages and disadvantages. Afterwards she puts forward some suggestion and strategies toward career training of secondary vocational schools. They shall change traditional mind and promote cooperation with social resource. Besides they shall make much effort to build the team of teachers and improve their training rules so as to increase the quality of training. The specialty of this thesis is that it’s probing to the playing of the career training function of secondary vocational schools.
