SNS has spawned many applied mode and achieved great success in practice. However, SNS has not made obvious application effect in the field of education. At present, e-education in China is transitioning from the start-application stage to application-integration stage. Application-integration stage of e-education emphasizes people-oriented, relationship, sharing, integration and overall regional connection. So, to build the application environment that facilitates relationship construction, resource sharing, information circulation and the connection of regional education system will promote the development of education in the new stage of e-education. Because SNS has the functions of establishing extensive relationship, promote resource sharing and information communication, this paper attempts to apply SNS to the area of e-education in primary and secondary education and discuss the educational applied mode of SNS, which has active significance to promote the development of e-education in China.This paper discusses the connotation of SNS from aspects of the meaning and the elements of composition and describes the characteristic of SNS in detail from the social and technical dimensions. On this basis, the applied possibility of SNS in education is analyzed from three aspects according to the advantages of SNS and the development demand of e-education in the new stage of e-education. First of all, the possibility of SNS in the construction of education information ecology is analyzed from the angle of the generation of connections among the various elements in the field of education that promoted by SNS. Secondly, according to the support of SNS for the learning theory of constructivism, distributed cognition, situated cognition and learning community, the possibility of SNS in the provision of network environment of informal learning for teachers, students is analyzed; Finally, from the angle of the promotion of SNS in education communication, the positive effects of SNS in promoting the all-round development of people is analyzed.By referring to the concept of "teaching mode", this paper believes that the applied mode of SNS in education is a kind of intermediary thinking that can guide the practice of functional design, use and management of application platform of SNS by integrating the laws of the personal demand of social interaction, learning theory,organization structure and operation mode etc. in the field of education with the characteristics of SNS. On this foundation, the problems of educational application of SNS are discussed. First, the application scenarios and position of application platform of SNS in education are specified. Secondly, through the analysis of the demand of the SNS educational platform, the basic elements of the application platform of SNS in education are generalized. Finally, in order to construct the applied mode of SNS in education, the aspects of the construction of entity and relationship, the organization of application functions, the formulation of rules, the overall structure and the educationally ecological system, the problems and prevention etc. are analyzed respectively.Taking the personal real name network learning space as an example, this paper applies the applied mode of SNS in education to the analysis of the needs of the case platform and analyses the educational application of the personal real name network learning space from the aspects of resource sharing, collaborative learning based on circle, teachers’ online office and homework function etc. respectively. According to the assessment of the educational application effect of the personal real name network learning space, the feasibility of guiding the design, use and management etc. of educational application platform of SNS by using the educational applied mode of SNS presented by this paper is verified.
