The cultural identity of coping has show that,in different cultural,individual choices for perception of stressors,coping target and coping strategy are different。Psychological researches have proven that the Ideology of Destiny can affect people’s coping behavior 。 For the Chinese who are influenced by Confucian’s Culture,Confucianism ideology of fate may affect Chinese’s coping behavior。This study based on many classic works of Confucianism and many literature of coping 。 Firstly, by combing and clarifying the evolution process of Confucian’s Ideology of fate。we screen out the central of the Confucians Fatalism in Coping 。 There are perception of fate,fear of fate,self-cultivation to cope fate,conquerable fate and fatalism,Than we development a scale of the college students Confucians Fatalism in Coping 。 After item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, we got the formal scale。This final scale contains 15 items and 5 dimensions。And it has good reliability and validity。Using this self-made scale survey in three universities of Shanghai College Students。It was found that: In general,the college students has positive recognition to the Confucians Fatalism in Coping。The means core is above average,the mean value of every factors order according to size as follows: fear of fate,self-cultivation to cope fate,conquerable fate,perception of fate,and fatalism。Junior students keep a more stable and peaceful attitude to fate in coping。They believe that“Man proposes, God disposes”。While the students from country often used oppression and summarizing experience way in coping。The general trends that school girl identify to the Confucians Fatalism in Coping is higher than the schoolboy。And whether have a religious belief,affecting about the faith of conquerable fate。...
