| After 90 years of development, Mongolian education sector has achieved so much, from extremely weak economic and social background to socialism and to democratic society. The main reasons for these achievements in education sector of Mongolia are: studying education experience of former Soviet Union, China and other countries, to promote more scientific and up to date educational environment, to illustrate Mongolian national beliefs and values in education sector, to improve educational environment throughout the country. But compared to the developed countries, Mongolia’s education sector also has many problems, the main causing factors of these problems are: weak economic, weak educational foundation, serious interference of religious forces, reform of the writing system, excessive dependence on Soviet education mode etc...Many countries had launched a series of pre-school education policies so that they can promote the development of pre-school education, therefore, the issue of pre-school education policy has become one of the important topics on world pre-school education research. This thesis attempts to systematically sort out the background, policy, contents and implementation of pre-school education policy in Mongolia. To further learn about the pre-school education policies in Mongolia.The thesis is mainly composed of the following four parts:The first part of introduction consists of the following four aspects: presentation of topic reasons, definition of the concepts, purpose and significance of the study and induction of the research on pre-school education policies in Mongolia.The second part is the background of the preschool education in Mongolia. The contents include: the establishment of the education system of Mongolia, the historical review of the development of pre- school education in the socialist period, and the introduction of the background of the policy of the pre-school education in Mongolia after the reform and opening up.The third part is the policy and the problems of the preschool education in Mongolia. This part mainly focused on introducing the Mongolian preschool education policy and implementation status, and then summed up the Mongolian pre-school education existing problems and difficulties, and finally analyses the causes of the problem.The fourth part is the suggestion to the development of the preschool education in Mongolia. The contents include: the government to increase the investment on pre- education sector, skill improvement of work force and its social status, more detailed education programs and so on…... |
