Teacher professional identity can define as the acceptance and recognition of the teachers about their job, which is an active attitude toward their profession. It deeply influences teachers ’ education attitude, teaching method, profession development and so on.Primary education is the first part of the compulsory education. It is very important stage to students, which can make solid foundation for their further study. To promote the professional development of primary school teacher and improve their professional quality, this paper mainly researches into the teacher professional identity of primary school teacher, based on understanding present situation and development of it.On the basis of the research of teacher professional identity at home and abroad, this paper has made a series of investigation and analysis of the present situation and influencing factor of primary school teachers in Guizhou province. This paper analyzed the situation of teacher professional identity, recognition differential of different teachers under different background, as well as the interaction relation of factors of teacher professional recognition through questionnaire. 116 primary school teachers in Guizhou province were included in this research.It indicates that the professional recognition of primary school teachers is relatively high in general. The main factors which influence teacher professional identity are teaching pressure, seniority, housing condition, salary and training. The crisis in teacher profession, was significantly correlated with the commitment of teacher in working and the wish of their putting in the job in future.The crisis in teacher profession and the commitment of teacher in working have a significant impact on the wish of their putting in the job in future.In order to help the primary school teacher in Guizhou province to promote the understanding of teacher profession identity, it is suggested that the teaching pressure should be relieved, the housing problems should be solved, the salary should be improved, and the training chances should be increased. Moreover, more attention should give to those who have already worked a certain long time.
