Urbanization of rural migrant workers is a difficulty of urbanization. The realization of rural migrant workers’ urbanization is a full range of urbanized, which means peasants flow into city, are employed in non-agricultural industries, living in city in a long time, and become new citizens, integrated into city. The process includes many aspects such as economy, politics, culture, psychology. Rural migrant workers’ city integration problem is the main problem of the process. New generation rural migrant workers are different from old generation rural migrant workers in psychology, attitudes, behaviors, which have the most will to be citizens and meanwhile are the most unstable group. As new generation rural migrant workers have been the backbone of rural migrant workers, focusing on the new generation rural migrant workers’ city integration problem is very important. Ecological system perspective is the main theory basis of social work’s heald melting model, provide a generalized, compromised knowledge base and practice framework, which is committed to improve clients’ psychology and environment condition, focusing on the interface between individual and environment, providing a framework which includes many factors and different concepts to solve client’s “ problems of life”, having particular advantage in analyzing and solving new generation rural migrant workers’ city integration problems.The thesis firstly, reviewing related literature at home and abroad and analyze the performance of new generation rural migrant workers’ city integration. Then on basis of visiting survey, in-depth interviews to analyze new generation rural migrant workers’ existing problems of their ecological system. At last, the thesis using the case study and comprehensive analysis methods put under ecological system perspective, social work intervention methods on new generation rural migrant workers’ city integration forward.The results include: ①new generation rural migrant workers are on the condition of half into city, performing in aspects of economic integration, cultural acceptance, behavior adaption, identity. ②The need for social work’s intervention is new generation rural migrant workers’ original ecological system have adverse effects on city integration, performing on in micro system, new generation rural migrant workers facing “three take off the embedded”, mezzo system’s cycle is unsustainable. The outside system is facing shift, but the shift’s influence on new generation rural migrant workers cannot be known right now. there are institutional and cultural obstacles in macro system. ③The possibility is social work’s ethical requests need social worker’s intervention uphold the objective respect concepts, life model provide a proper practice model, and social work method and practice process are feasible. ④LQ’s case shows specific process of social work’s intervention on new generation rural migrant workers’ problems. ⑤for new generation rural migrant worker group, social work’s intervention object is to promote new generation rural migrant workers ‘s integration in city on the basis of reasonable and orderly. To put under ecological system perspective, social work intervention on new generation rural migrant workers’ city integration should committed in new generation rural migrant workers’ growth and development area, the rights and interests maintenance area and illegal crime area’s original ecological system’s recover, and social worker should in the area of institution reform, education and training strength, social organization cultivate to advocate social policy’s improve, to extend their original ecological system forward.
