Private colleges counted as important parts of higher education in our country,the purpose for founding is to cultivate professional applied- talents effectively and carry out industrial and scientific,technological innovation and R & D work actively. With the continuous development of China’s education and improvement,our country university established their developing more crystal goals,its urging for equality and striving to provide better service for the public. Under the guidance of such concept,Private colleges gain rapid development which strongly promoted the growing of higher education,providing better support for regional economic development as well. In terms of Private colleges,they are more close to the actual situation of the region’s economic and social development,so they can be targeted objectively to cultivate high-quality talents. Therefore,serving the society become the one of the great functions of universities especially for Private colleges.It can be said that China’s current Private colleges are gradually changing their inherent ideas,important institutions are from simply passing on knowledge into social service agencies. Under the current situation,discussing how to bring university professionals and technology superiority effectively into the local industrial advantages,with great power for the development of enterprises,which is the current development of the Private colleges in the process must be thinking and solving problems.This paper based on this background,study deeply the countermeasures that how do the Private colleges serve the regional economy. Taking Hebei Institute of media as an example,summarizes and analyzes the problems existing in its development process and coping strategies,so as to provide some support for the development of Private colleges.This paper is divided into five parts,first part is introduction,the purpose of the study and research significance are discussed,at the same time,in-depth analysis of the current situation about the development of Private colleges both at home and abroad.
