Private supplementary tutoring, which attaches to mainstream schooling, imitating the tradition school continuously,aiming to enhance the students’ school performance,thus is called“shadow education”.At the period of contemporary era,“Shadow Education” become a common social phenomenon with the promotion of household consumption level and make a significant difference to proportion of students who entering schools of a higher grade between the urban and rural areas,of which the phase of primary school is the most typical one.This master’s thesis research on three public elementary schools which from different areas about Zhouzhu city,one of the city towns and the town of countryside. Comparative analysis the difference between the urban and rural places.We can learn the situation about elementary school by doing statistics and put forward the strategies according to the situation about the government,guild, school, parents.etc.In this research,based on the empirical investigation method,giving out the questionnaire to the respondents and interviewing the respondents.At the results,we can learn from the statistics that there are distinct ladder change between the urban and rural areas. The elementary school’s participant from city is the best,the town’s is better,and the rural place is the worst.The different factors can cause adverse effects of Urban-rural gap in shadow education,such as economic level,family cultural background,infrastructure of teaching and has become a major factor in a fair education.How to create a good environment to let the shadow education to playing a positive role of “Balanced development” education is the most important thing to we need to do. Such as the government not only should provide economic assistance but also should make a criterion to guide the development of shadow education;The technologies gains should put in to use the education of rural areas;What’s more,strengthening the teaching staff of countryside and change the value of part of rural parents both meaningful to realize the balanced education and educational fairness.
