High school is an individual body and mind the golden period of rapid development, to the person’s whole life play an important decisive role, and have a healthy body is the premise of other achievements, and high school students should be active and effective to carry out sports activities. A new round of physical education curriculum reform put forward the concept of \ "health first\" guiding, and clearly the relationship between the target and content of teaching and option of module, etc., for the learning task is heavy, the psychological pressure of high school students is of great significance, therefore, a new round of physical education curriculum reform in high school sports teaching achieved results, but the new curriculum reform also appeared some problems in the implementation. In this paper, using literature method, induction, the method of comprehensive analysis,questionnaire survey access method of the progress of the high school physical education curriculum reform, problems and related Suggestions are discussed in this paper. This article is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, including research background and significance, research ideas, research methods, research contents and innovative points in five aspects of content. The second part is the literature review, including the current research abroad and domestic research status of two parts. Overview of the third part of high school sports a new round of curriculum reform, including the background of the new round curriculum reform, the cause of the reform, reform the progress of the three aspects of content. The fourth part with Z high school as an example, this paper analyzes the new curriculum reform in the high school sports teaching content analysis of the status quo. The fifth part of the new curriculum reform in the high school sports teaching content and the problems existing in the related factors. The sixth is divided into coping strategies. Including the correct understanding of the nature of the physical education curriculum, improve the importance of physical education, reasonable choice of teaching content, handle the relationship between the students and teachers leading, perfecting the teaching feedback mechanism five aspects dealing with high school sports curriculum reform the teaching content of shortcomings.
