Abstract/Summary:
Mathematics view is the fundamental and understanding view on the essence of mathematics. It has an important influence on learning Mathematics. Senior one students are in the transition period from middle school to high school, so understanding their views of mathematics has important significance for them to cultivate the reasonable mathematics view effectively.On the basis of previous research, the author will divide the mathematics views into three dimensions: mathematics knowledge; mathematics learning; mathematics values. The study on high school student’s mathematics view is based on the questionnaire survey of 493 high school students in Tianshui and the method of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. It shows that: the mathematics view on high school students’ in Tianshui is simple, tend to be static, absolute and instrumental at present; the students’ mathematics views have big differences between genders; the students’ mathematics views have significant differences between urban and rural areas; the students’ mathematics views is significantly related to their mathematics achievements.According to the investigation and statistic analysis of mathematics views, the author puts forward effective measures to promote the formation of rational mathematics views for high school students: improving the consciousness of mathematics views by mathematics teachers classroom teaching; focusing on the widening of strategic mathematical knowledge; paying attention to the cultivation of the spirit of exploration; infiltrating mathematical culture, embodying the value of mathematics culture.
