The Study On Career Choice Of The Master Of Social Work

As of the end of 2014, there were 310 colleges and universities to recruit undergraduate social work students, more than 70 vocational schools of social work to recruit college students, 104 colleges and universities(research institutions) to recruit professional social work master’s students each year graduate student in social work nearly 3 million people. The rapid development of social work education for the development of social work career trained a lot of talent, but China advance social work education, vocational maturity is low, and low professional recognition, not engaged in social work with a large number of professional graduates graduation directly related to work. So social work graduates career options? What is the process? Social work graduate career choice issues become a matter of growing concern.In this paper, we are using a qualitative research method of case study, with eight social work master’s degree graduates as the research object, by showing their entire graduate experience(including professional learning postgraduate experience, graduate students during the internship experience, job experience), analysis of this Effect of experience on their career choice, summed up the characteristics and process of their career choices in the main factors(economic, institutional aspects, Personal), summed up the career choice they understand the process, describes this course It means to them. And made a number of recommendations concerning career options, hoping to help social work graduates will soon face a better career choice through this phase.
