Focus on the implementation of quality education is to train the students’ innovation spirit and practice ability and the current education is no longer a simple training of students’ knowledge and skill, therefore we pay more attention to the cultivation of comprehensive ability of students from school to society needed than ever. Biology comprehensive practical ability is comprehensive various ability of an individual participating in biological practice consciously using biological knowledge to solve practical problems.On the basis of the junior and senior high school biology curriculum standard in the provisions for the target of the ability, this study classifies biological practice ability through the comprehensive analysis of many biological literature of ability and combined with compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook and ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook. According to the ability of the object and the field, the biology comprehensive practice ability can be divided into six types: biological experimental ability, biological information processing ability, scientific research ability, biological taxonomy and defense ability, planting and breeding ability, biological technology and other capacity utilization.Under the new era background, it is necessary to understand the effectiveness and problem of high school students cultivate biology comprehensive practical ability, which proposed the strategy to comprehensive practical activities for all kinds of biological teachers guide students effectively, and provide a reference for the relevant departments of the comprehensive practice teaching decision.This paper uses self-made "The questionnaire of middle school students biology comprehensive practical ability in Guangdong Province" as the main research tool. The students just graduated from middle school can more comprehensively reflect the training of biology comprehensive practice ability. In this study, 1000 questionnaires was distributed to freshman just graduted from middle school and 970 valid questionnaires recovered. Combined with the results of questionnaire and interview of middle school graduates, teachers, parents to detailed analysis analysis the three aspects of the understanding attitudes, the basic training status, specific capabilities. The results show the main positive results of biology comprehensive practice ability of middle school students in Guangdong Province are: have a strong interest in the cultivation of biology comprehensive practice ability, a positive attitude to the cultivation of biology comprehensive practice ability, have a significant progress from the cultivation of biology comprehensive practice ability, have a strong biology comprehensive practical ability in life. At the same time, Guangdong Province to cultivate students biology comprehensive practice ability also exists the problems: the cultivation channel of biology comprehensive practice ability was single, the biological experiment, science inquiry and information processing ability is relatively lack, the ability of the practical application of biological knowledge is not strong, the implementation comprehensive practice curriculum not in place, the resource of school and social provide is lack.Based on the above presented problems, the author put forward constructive measures:the organic combination of School of biological comprehensive practical ability of various cultivation channels, the real implementation of the biology curriculum "ability" target, pay attention to biological knowledge and biological comprehensive practical ability, improve the environment of school train students biology comprehensive practical ability, provide the social resources.
