This paper is divided into five parts altogether. The first part is about the cause of the author’s choosing mind mapping in the mathematics teaching application of the high school and introduces the significance of the study of this topic. This paper also analyses the present situation of mind mapping research abroad and the possible development trend of future and provides personal opinion on the education background of author.Besides,this throughout part shows the research content and method, determines the tone, then supplies the necessary background foundation support for carrying out all later research.In the second part, author outlines the related concept and drawing mode of the mind mapping. It provides a certain reference for readers’ drawing mind mapping. The third part is chosen six key theoretical basis of mind map,including the brain sciences theory, theory of knowledge visualization, schema theory, information processing theory, cognitive psychology and the feasibility of the application in the high school mathematics theory and so on. They consolidate the theoretical basis for study of after the article narrates the experiment. The fourth part is the author’s experimental study. This experiment chooses two high school math key knowledge based on mind mapping mode of professor teaching for providing more visual angle and the reference for the students. With specific experiment make readers clearing mind mapping direction and actual application in the high school mathematics teaching practice, then bursting feeling applied in practical teaching.
