Research On "Wealth Flaunt" Of College Students During The Transitional Periodand The Ideological Political Education

Our country is in the period of social transition now. Socialtransition is a kind of process, in which a social system transits to anothersystem. Since the third plenary session of the eleventh,1978, especiallysince entering the21st century, in the context of globalization andinternationalization of knowledge economy, the growing popularity of theInternet has made information technology rapid development, led directlyto the political, ideological, moral and cultural level of different degreesof conflicts and agitates, promoted the social transformation in ourcountry rapidly. Especially in the globalization, a batch of new ideologyand culture formed, and ideas spread.All kinds of thoughts, penetrating into China continuously, make thecollege students’ ideology and value orientation change rapidly. Incampuses, with the characteristics of personalism and self-presentation,"wealth flaunt" is common. Its purpose is not only the enjoyment of material itself, but also lies in the pursuit of its significance, the symbolof status and identity so as to make people considerate the problem of theideological education of college students. In the period of social transition,"wealth flaunt" phenomenon of ideological and political education workputs forward new challenges. In order to study the ideological andpolitical education problems further, combining with the theory ofideological and political education, this paper, establishingcountermeasure for "wealth flaunt" at the same time, discuses the dazzlerich thinking problem for college students detailed, and improves theideological and political education system, and the effectiveness andpertinence of ideological and political education. Therefore, in this paper,based on the theory of ideological and political education, collegestudents "wealth flaunt" phenomenon in the transition period is taken asthe research object, and the causes of this phenomenon areanalyzed specifically. Combined college students’ characteristics in thetransition period, ideological and political education countermeasures arecame forward.On the one hand, combining psychology, economics, sociology, andother disciplines of knowledge, scientific analysis on the subject, thispaper analyzes the cause of social transition the causes of college students"wealth flaunt" phenomenon. In terms of research contents, it is ofresearch innovation. On the other hand, under the background of transitional period, this paper, taking "wealth flaunt" phenomenon asthe breakthrough point, starts from the group of college students, studiesits characteristics, and deeply analyzes how to make use of theideological and political education means to reduce or eliminate thephenomenon of "wealth flaunt". In terms of research perspective andentry point, it is of innovation, and in terms of research significance, it isof perspectiveness.
