The Study On Situation And Path Of Ideological And Political Education Master Using Mixed Research Methods

Exploring and expanding research methods is an important task for each discipline construction and development, Sound and innovative research methods are also an important symbol of evidence to development and progress of subject. Methods of ideological and political education has been the focus of academic attention, to a certain extent,Research methods can determine the quality of the research results of the ideological and political education. Ideological Education after 30 years of development, has made a wealth of research, to build a complete content, reasonable structure, dynamic and open disciplinary system. However, Innovation and exploration its research methods are lagging behind and weak respect to research on basic theory,development history and comparative study of ideological political education. Ideological and Political Education requires both logical speculation as the main paradigm of research methods, and qualitative and quantitative research methods, thus, on the one hand,it can lay a solid foundation for the theory of ideological and political education research, on the other hand,can timely answers to outstanding problems in economic and social development and human self-development. Mixed research methods,combined variety research methods such as qualitative, quantitative research and logic speculative,is an important carrier of reversing the existing single preference of Research methods and achieving the value of theory study and social services of ideological and political education. First,this paper reviews the theoretical basis and type of the mixed research methods and by comparison, the use of mixed research methods is conducive to driving innovation research methods of Ideological and Political Education, optimizing development target of Ideological and Political Education and enhancing Ideological and Political Education master’s Practical ability of serving the community. Based on investigation of research methods of Anhui Ideological and Political Education master’s degree thesis from 2010 to 2013, author finds that Ideological and Political Education master’s method awareness is increasing year by year, but at the same time, they confuse the methodology and the specific research methods, specific research methods and interdisciplinary research methods when using esearch methods. Therefore, this paper suggests that enhancing disciplines of academic discourse,Innovating Ideological and Political Education own research methodology, Strengthening disciplining research methods of Ideological and Political Education and specificating academic research program of master and so on, and explores an path that Ideological and Political Education Master can use mixed research methods effectively.
