In this paper, the main research object is left-behind high school students, who are at the stage of youngsters to teenagers, and students of the Second Shenqiu Senior High School are the examples. The courses of difficulties in chemistry learning are the content of this research paper, in which the methods include field research, questionaires, interviews and observation, and I will research and analyse systematically the present situation, problems and teaching strategies of learning chemistry.Through my investigation and study, two factors---internal and external are influencing left-behind senior high school students. The internal factors mainly include:(1) the students’ own metacognitive level. Normally, the low level of metacognition contributes to low learning abilities and few acedemic achievements; (2) learning motivation. Learning motivation is the internal driving force of student’s study, and students with high learning motivation are quite eager to work hard; (3) command of basic knowledge. Basic knowledge has direct impact on chemistry learning; (4) learning interest. If students are greatly interested in chemistry, they are willing to study hard, gaining good grades. (5) learning habits. A good study habits can help students study chemistry, and they will feel easy to learn this subject. External factors mainly include:(1) the influence of family. A harmonious family is very important for a child, because the family is the foundation of children education. A disharmonious family has a bad effect on children’s study; (2) the teaching level and teaching quality of teachers. Those who often praise students in the class will find students’ academic performance better than those who are often criticized by teachers; (3) the nature of this subject. Chemistry itself is an exquisite nature science. In the process of learning, it requires students to master knowledge and experimental skills, remember study points and operate skillfully experiments; (4) society. Society greatly influences students. Sometimes, a few students are addicted to bad habits because of bad mood of society, and some even commit crimes. (5) psychological factors. External factors through students’ psychological role, starting from the students’ psychological factors, combined with the psychological characteristics of the students left the transformation, can achieve a multiplier effect. In the conversion of these students, the author thinks that students should play an important role. Of course, parents should be involved in the education of students. Schools should not discriminate students who have learning difficulties, attach great importance to the transformation of these students, and improve teachers’ quality and teaching levels. The whole society participate to create a stable and healthy environment for these students.
