Under the background of rapid development of modern information technology, the use of modern technology in teaching has been a feature of school teaching reform and development in our country. The application of iPad to teaching brings comprehensive transformation in education, covering the form, method and structure. Therefore, the establishment of history curriculum based on modern information technology, and the exploration of new auxiliary teaching tool, i.e. how iPad is applied to history teaching in junior middle school, has its significance.This paper focuses on the discussion of several theoretical and practical problems in the application of iPad to junior middle school history teaching. First of all, this paper describes the connotation and the development of teaching briefly, and analyzes the superiority of the combination of iPad and junior middle school history teaching. Second,several modes of junior middle school history teaching model based on iPad are illustrated;Furthermore, we discuss specifically on how to use iPad to design curriculum; Finally, this paper discusses the problems between the device and teaching, to achieve more effective implementation of the device to junior high school history teaching.This paper deals with actual examples of the electronic teaching materials and teaching design, to provide a theoretical reference to future research of iPad in junior middle school history course.
