Education researchers have been interested in the study of the students’ essay topics in the Senior-High School Entrance Examination and the relevant essay writing situation, however, due to the specific circumstances of the different provinces and cities, some strong regional differences emerged. The essay writing is the last title for Chinese language during the Senior-High School Entrance Examination, the full mark for this subject increased from 40 points to 50 points, which occupys a large part in the examination of Chinese language papers. It examines the overall level of the students, which embodies the student literary quality.By analyzing the essay writing in Chinese language exam of Senior-High School Entrance Examination in Hainan Province in the past five years, we found most students got low essay scores, and very few got full scores. Thus, writing isa weak link in Chinese language teaching. The relevant study have been done by many researchers, On the basis of which, this paper will focus on the essay topic and the regular pattern according to the specific situation of Hainan junior high school teaching. The researching shows the diversified development trend of the essay, and always use the freely speaking of the topic, it’s close to the real life and the social hot spot, the Proposition focus on students’ self-discovery. At the same time, we also find many problems. From the student perspective, there is a problem in terms of student moderation, setters, material, structure, etc. From the instructor perspective, showing the problems like teachers teaching philosophy oriented education in the teaching process, arbitrary composition teaching, "spoon-fed" teaching model essay, lacing of training etc. In this paper, we analyzed the causes of these problems and on this basis, proposed some Countermeasure in the essay exam teaching the Senior-High School Entrance Examination of Hainan Province. And to improve the writing skills of middle school students comprehensively, students and educators both should make efforts. On one hand, the students should give full play to the initiative, strengthen reading and accumulation, focusing on the writing thought and sentiment, mastering the writing methods and techniques. On the other hand, the instructor should play a leading role in teaching, to stimulate students’ interest and creative desires in writing by using heuristic teaching model, attending the writing guide of the whole process, and strengthening the guidance of the second class. Only the above teaching strategies are used both in the teachers’ teaching and students’ learning, the students ’ interest in writing can be mobilized, the students’ writing skills and language literacy can be improve.
