Relative to the radio, television,newspapers, magazines as traditional four media, new media, with its wide sourcesof information, fast dissemination of information, information disseminationchannels novel characteristics of exerts a subtle influence on the people’s life.Contemporary college students is the main user group of the new media, media canbe with a wealth of information, rapid speed and broad platform for the collegestudents’ ideological and political education to provide new opportunities, at thesame time can be also with its unrestricted and privacy for the ideological andpolitical education to provides a new challenge. Analyzing the path of the ideologicaland political education under the new media, can make the ideological and politicaleducation workers better analysis of the existing insufficiency, perfecting theeducation field of vision, further grasp the ideological and political education law,and guide college students to establish correct world outlook, the outlook on life andvalues.This article firstly with the path analysis of the ideological and politicaleducation under the conditions of the media as the main body, by the method ofdocument reading, analyzing the definition of new media and research results both athome and abroad, contra posing the new media can affect college students’ideological and political education of fast speed, at the same time, researches inprivacy and interactive to give deep analysis, and understand the characteristics ofthe new media. Then sampling the communication engineering college class of2012students in our school with using practice study and mathematical statistics, with realdata to understand college students at present by the breadth and depth of theinfluence of new media, find the causes of new media having negative impact factors of ideological and political education buwork and discuss solutions.Finally analyzing the path of ideological and political education in universitieswith using the interdisciplinary study, and find a way to improve the ideological andpolitical education work.As the ideological and political education workers, facing the era with the rapiddevelopment of information technology, we must firmly seize the opportunity,deepening study, analyze the existing problems, positively face the challenges ofepoch, purposefully build a high quality team of ideological and political educationto guide students continuous learning and further developing.
