| Service-learning is not only a service philosophy, but also a method of civil education and practice patterns as well. Service-learning emphasizes the combination of service and learning, focus on achieving effects of courses and major learning through the process of service. This article visually shows internal needs and commonality between youth volunteering activity and service-learning activity compared two successful cases of youth volunteer activity which carries out a service-learning course and an undeveloped service course. But, the interior and exterior problems of higher vocational college volunteering activity has began to restrict its development. It is necessary to explore youth volunteering activity in higher vocational college and possibility to complex between study goal and service process, however higher vocational college youth volunteering activity started service-learning with clearly related to basic content of service-learning by well focused on improving the basic aspects of service-learning courses, strengthened to manage evaluation of related service-learning courses and increased teacher’s participation in service-learning which is the key point of youth volunteer activity launched service-learning. Service-learning in higher vocational college youth volunteering should set up mode of operation and security system. The mode of operation including course design and process design: during the mode of course design, should be clarify the course type and score mode of service-learning; while during the mode of process design, should be focus on designing process and activity of service-learning.Security system is including organization security, policy security, staff security, evaluation security and etc. |
