The Analysis Of The Outstanding University Counselors’ Traits

University counselors, as a mainstay in strengthening and improving the level of the college students’ ideology and political consciousness, are the leaders and guide of the university students. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen and cultivate the outstanding traits the construction of the counselor team.In order to enhance the professionalism and quality of the university counselors and improve the level of the university students’ scientific and political education, this article takes "the counselor person of the year" as an example through the means of empirical research and comparative research. Based on the theories of "The theory of personality trait","The competency theory" and "The subjective thinking of the political and ideological educator", we point out the traits of the outstanding university counselors and built the model. Furthermore, we give detailed analysis of many factors attributed to cultivate the outstanding traits. Finally, we have explored the training path to cultivate the outstanding traits on the basis of the above analysis.
