Secondary vocational education is a challenge and reform for the exam-orientededucation in China over the years, and China has invested lots of manpower and financialresources in developing secondary vocational education. Over the past thirty years, althoughthey have provided lots of references for the work in the management of the students, therestill exist many problems. In recent years, the number of the students in vocational school hasdeclined sharply, the threshold of higher vocational schools has been lowered, andaccordingly, the quality of the students is very poor, which all make the problems ofmanaging students and promoting their integrated development start to appear. Therefore, inthis context, to explore the issues of the management of the students in the secondaryvocational school, and to improve the efficiency of educational management of secondaryvocational school are particularly importantThis thesis emphasizes the management work of the students in secondary vocationalschool, and starts from the problems of the thoughts in managing the students in secondaryvocational school, such as, the obsolete management systems, the rigid management modeand the poor intercommunication between the mechanisms. What is more, this thesis exploresthe reasons from the perspectives of society, family, school and students themselves, andbased on the authentic case of the management of the students in Shaanxi Auto MechanicSchool, demonstrates the four major principles of the management of students, namely,subjectivity, democracy, subjectivity and long-term incentive principle. In addition, this thesisdiscusses the existing problems in the management and construction in secondary schools andthe corresponding countermeasures, hoping to attract attention from relevant departmentsalong with the rapid development of secondary vocational school. We should reform andinnovate, improve executive force effectively, carry out more practice, make more summariesand do more researches. Only in this way, can the learning conditions of the students beimproved further and can the educational ideas of self-management be produced by thestudents. Meanwhile, the author also hopes that this thesis research makes contributions tofurther improve the educational system of the management of the students in secondary vocational schools, to the change of ideas in educational management in secondary vocationalschools, to provide a reference in the management of students for similar schools, and topromote the function of the management work of the students in secondary vocationalschools.
