The new curriculum standards Chinese textbook published by People’seducation press and the textbook published by the taiwan longteng press aretypical high school textbooks.In order to futher improve the quality of Chinesetextbook,we shall compare the selection system with each other. Through thecomparison of several aspects such as the model of textbook compile,the patternand standard of selection system,internal components and the quality of thearticals of the txetbooks and so on.We can make a conclude that the mainlandChinese testbook is batter than the taiwan textbook,especially in the aspect of themodel of textbook compile,the internal components of the new curriculumstandards textbook published by People’s education press is more reasonable thanthe other,and the degree of difficulty of the selection is more conform to thestudents’cognitive level.But the mainland textbook also have someshortcomings,for instance,lose touch with reality, and is short of the atticals ofethnic minorities.so we shoud try our best to make it batter.
