Education is a way of cultivating people’s social practice, and its nature is topromote people’s overall development, education directly faces with a man’s life andit can most reflect humanistic care of human. Life is the origin of education, and itcan’t live without educational enlightenment and moist. In today’s society, theenvironmental problems, food safety issues, youth suicide problems are increasinglyserious, and people lost the think of life and in deep crisis of spirit. As a part of theelementary education, chemistry not only faces responsibility of these problems, butalso disciplines their own characteristics and advantages which can be used to helpsolve these crises."Chemistry and life" contains many life education resources andmust shoulder the mission of life education in the new curriculum reform.This paper based on the existing theory of life education, and it expounds thebasic connotation of life education and theoretical basis, and introduces the currentsituation of life education at home and abroad, which summed up the characteristicsof life education and existing problems; Then inductively finishing the teachingmaterial systematically and taking the elective module of "chemical and life" as anexample, and teasing out the life education resources, and providing six concreteteaching casees as the penetration of the life education in the chemistry teaching;conducting empirical research in three dimensions: the cognitive, emotional attitudeand behavior. The education content includes know life, cherishes life and protectslife; finally, and we evaluate the effect of life education in "chemical and life" moduleteaching in the form of questionnaire survey and interviews, and try to providereferences for theory and practice of reform of education.Research shows that: the teaching materials of "chemical and life" has fruitfullife education resources, and it talks in the three topics: chemistry and health, life andthe chemical materials, chemical and environment. The content closes to the real lifeand it is good for life education; Infiltration life education in "chemical and life"classroom teaching has its feasibility and necessity, and it can effectively improvestudents’ cognitive, emotional attitude and behavior of life. To help students develop ahealthy lifestyle, set up the correct viewpoint of life, promote the life and health, andimprove the quality of life and enhance the scientific literacy.
