As the development of network informationization, influenced by varioussocial thoughts, changes of college students’ ideology become increasinglycomplex. Some students lack judgment and distinguishing competence, and makedeviation in their thoughts, which are all caused by impacts of dramaticallyincreasing information and complex marketing environment. Explicit education playsa critical role in ideological and political education, but there are some problemsas the society’s development. Implicit education has advantages of being morehumanistic and more respecting educating objects, which breaks the limitation offixed educating time and location. Besides, it makes ideological and politicaleducation extend to areas where explicit education cannot reach and cover. Thisnaturally influences every aspects of college life and makes implicit education’sadvantages increasingly obvious. It is critical to solve problems in college students’ideological and political education by utilizing implicit education and exploring itsresources to bring positive effect on college students’ ideology.In this paper, it mainly focuses on implicit education. Firstly, it explainsthe meaning and characteristics of college students’ ideology and growth; it definesthe meaning, characteristics, functions and forms of implicit education, andthe importance of enhancing implicit education in college students’ ideological andpolitical education. Secondly, it explores basic status of college students’ thoughtsby conducting social surveys, analyzes implicit education’s positive influence onstudents’ ideology and its limitations, and explains the key points of strengtheningimplicit education to provide the further research of this paper with reality basis.Lastly, based on the reality of college students’ ideology, guided by core valuesof socialism, it explores the effective ways of improving implicit education inaspects of enhancing educators’ conducting competence, creating methods ofimplicit education, utilizing new techniques to create carriers of impliciteducation, exploiting educating resources, and optimizing the educating environment of implicit education.
