Geometry teaching is an important component of high school mathematicsteaching while dynamic geometry teaching is its important pattern and plays asignificant role in cultivating students’ ability of geometrical thinking. This paper aimsat discussing the relationship between dynamic geometry teaching and the cultivation ofgeometrical thinking ability from aspects of theory and practice.This paper used of qualitative research methods, including literature method,survey method and action research. It reviewed the background of dynamic geometryteaching’s emergence, forming process, as well as theories and research related togeometrical thinking ability through collecting and consulting literature. Then on thebasis of previous research, it carried out dynamic geometry teaching practice onstudents of senior air attendance class in Suzhou No.4Middle School, finally this papersummarized the significance of dynamic geometry teaching and its influence andpositive functions on cultivating students’ ability of geometrical thinking. This surveyanalyzes the positive influence of dynamic geometry teaching to the students’ ability ofgeometrical thinking on the basis of conversation with part of air attendance students ontheir attitude, acceptability and interests towards the dynamic geometry teaching.This paper draws the following conclusions:1) To develop dynamic geometryteaching in senior air attendance class is feasible and effective;2) Dynamic geometryteaching can help students on observing figures, analyzing figures’ changes andimproving abilities of geometrical intuitive thinking and abstract thinking since it showsfigures intuitively and demonstrates figures’ movement;3) Argumentation ofconclusions to dynamic geometry’s questions makes students to find some newquestions, get new ideas, and draw new conclusions in the process, and it alsocontribute to cultivating students’mathematical creative thinking.Dynamic geometry teaching is necessary to cabin service class’s geometry teaching,it can improve efficiency and validity of classroom teaching, arouse students’interest inlearning, and promote students’ability of geometrical thinking.
