Vertical jump is an action that makes the body quickly pushing off the ground a strong starting power produced by explosive contraction of ankle, knee and ankle muscle as well as coordinating limb swing. It is one of jumping, an important basic action, and it is a necessary sport quality that those athletes who get outstanding achievements with the help of the movements of lower limbs. Vertical jump is widely used in sports; for example, lobbing the ball, rebound and jump shot in basketball, also spiking, blocking and second transmitter’s jumping pass in volleyball. Therefore, the development of makes sports training areas pay high attention to this basic movement. From the angle of the kinetics, vertical jump ability depends on explosive power; explosive power is the general performance of proper contractility and contraction velocity of muscle, which can be expressed as explosive power (motive power)=force (physical strength) X speed(velocity). So strength training matters a lot to vertical jump ability.Practices show that systematic sports training can improve the vertical jump ability and the level of sports expression like running, jumping and tapping. And the post-exercise activation shows that sports training under high intensity promotes the rate of force development (RFD) of similar movements or explosive power in a short time. However, the influential characteristics and mechanism which single strength training has on vertical jump ability along with the training arrangement haven’t been widely studied. Also, the influences that training of different intensity in high intensity range (70%-100%) and interval training in different short time have on RFD haven’t been deeply studied. However, the influential characteristics and mechanism which single strength training has on vertical jump ability along with the training arrangement haven’t been widely studied. Also, the influences that training of different intensity in high intensity range (70%-100%) and interval training in different short time have on RFD haven’t been deeply studied.Concerning the considerations above, this thesis takes the human’s typical vertical jump as an example and researches the different results which are made by strength training of squatting with backing barbells in different bear load and interval of time. The height of vertical jump is closely related to athlete’s skill, working conditions of muscle and the mechanical effect of working muscle. The first two factors’changing will result in different mechanical and exercise effects. We take12people as objects in this study. We focus on the proper load intensity, which has positive impact on one’s vertical jump ability, and the characteristics of the training interval. This study is arranged as single squatting with different bear load and several squatting to the utter. We use three-dimensional force platform and high-speed camera to observe the changing characteristics of index of correlation like jumping height of center of gravity, changing gradient of strength, rate of work of vertical jump, and maximum force change of pelma during pedaling and stretching. We determines different percentages of bear load (60%、70%、80%,90%、95%、100%) on the basis of different maximum squatting power of subjects in different intervals (at once, one minute or three minutes). The data shows that jumping height and changing gradient of strength come to a head when the percentage of weight comes to80%,90%and95%in both single squatting with different bear load and several squatting to the utter. This data will change with the change of interval; what’s more, different ways of bear load influence the influential degree that interval has on the record. In single squatting with different bear load, non-interval exercise has the best effect on the improvement of vertical jump; in several squatting to the utter, one-minute exercise is the best. All in all, on the one hand, doing vertical jumps at once after squatting with different bear load (80%,90%,95%) have the most positive influence on vertical-jump ability; it can improve athletes’vertical-jump ability. On the other hand, when the bear load is controlled within80%-95%, the interval between vertical jumps should not be more than one minute in several squatting with different bear load.Vertical jump is just one representative of the subjects that mainly use explosive power. Whether the results in this thesis can be used in other subjects must be examined by practices.
