Vertical jump ability as an important indicator of physical fitness is the basis for all kinds of sports vertical jump off technology in basketball, volleyball, high jump, long jump, sports aerobics, trampoline and floor exercise, and so the game, also played for achievement a significant influence. Currently, Plyometrics training has become a widely accepted and effective training methods for improving vertical jump ability, and thus is widely used to improve vertical jump height training. But for this training typical- jump training effect brought about deep but there is much controversy; at the same time, upper body strength and vertical jump ability to practice whether a certain correlation has been less involved. In this study, starting from the above two points to jump deep upper body strength training exercises and experimental study of the impact of vertical jump height. Through study attempts to explore the best training methods to improve vertical jump height, to the various sports in vertical jump training provides Kam move. At the same time, provide a reference for further enrich the theory of lower extremity strength training system and similar studies.The study of 40 chosen Pingdingshan basketball specialty classes of students as subjects were randomly divided into A, B, C, D four groups for a period of eight weeks of the experiment,:A group of traditional vertical jump exercises, group B were "The traditional vertical jump exercises + upper body strength exercises," the group C were practicing, D group "jump deep + upper body strength exercises." In addition to training more than twice a week, the four groups were carried out load at week five, the contents of the same basic strength training. After eight weeks of training on the use of mathematical statistics, upper body strength and vertical jump height athletes were analyzed.The results show that: four sets of upper body strength and vertical jump height(1) experiments were significantly improved;(2) upper body strength: B, D group were higher than A, group C;(3) vertical jump height: Group B high in group A, group C higher than group A, D group than in group C, there was no significant difference in group B, A, group B and group C. Through the analysis of experimental results the following conclusions: Practicing in this experiment to improve the athlete’s vertical jump height was significantly better than the traditional jumping exercises; upper body strength exercises to increase vertical jump height also has an important influence; "jump deep + upper body strength," the combination of exercise is more effective than other groups to improve vertical jump height.
