Objective:To research the different sports intervention effect on cardiac structure and function of middle-aged women, and find out the most suitable practical basis for middle-aged group exercise pattern.Methods:Randomly selected85healthy women aged50-59years were randomly divided into two groups, the41of them belonged to spinning group, and44was jogging group. Two groups used heart rate as exercise intensity control, and exercise intervention continued for16weeks. Cardiac ultrasound was used to analysis the indicators of cardiac structure and function before and after the intervention at the quiet environment.Result shows that:(1) The heart structure:two groups of left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDd), left ventricular end systolic diameter (an LVDs), left ventricular wall motion amplitude (LVPWTs) had no significant difference (P>0.05) after the intervention. Compared with exercise intervention before the intervention LVDd spinning groups have significant difference (P<0.05), and jogging group LVDd has a very significant difference (P<0.01). The LVPWTs of The two groups have increased without significant difference (P>0.05). Their LVDs had no significant difference (P>0.05) after the intervention.(2) The cardiac functions:①The heart pump function result shows that their left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV), left ventricular end systolic volume (LVESV), ejection fraction (EF), left ventricular short axis shortening rate (FS), cardiac output (CO) output, stroke volume (SV) and heart rate (HR) had no significant difference (P>0.05) before the intervention. Compared with the situation before the exercise intervention, the LVEDV of spinning group increase without significant difference (P>0.05) after the intervention, while the LVEDV of jogging groups has very significant difference (P<0.01). Compared with the situation before the exercise intervention, the LVESV of the two groups are lower but there was no significant difference (P>0.05) after the intervention. The EF, FS and CO of spinning group has increased but there was no significant difference (P>0.05), while these indicators of jogging group has very significant difference (P<0.01). What’s more, the SV and HR of the two groups has very significant difference.②Diastolic function result shows that the peak early diastolic filling velocity of the left ventricle in two groups (VE), left ventricular peak late diastolic filling velocity (VA), left ventricular diastolic peak early and late filling speed ratio (VE/VA) have no significant difference (P>0.05) before the intervention. Compared with the situation before exercise intervention, the VE, VA, VE/VA of the two groups have very significant differences (P<0.01) after the intervention.Conclusion:(1) In16weeks, the spinning and jogging intervention result of the cardiac subtle structure change in middle-aged women, which can be noticed from the increase of LVDd;(2) In16weeks, the spinning and jogging intervention can improve the cardiac pump function of middle-aged women, characterized by the increase of LVEDV, EF, FS, SV, CO, and the decrease of HR;(3) In16weeks, the spinning and jogging intervention can improve the compliance of crowd diastolic function in the middle-aged women, characterized by the increase of VE and VA, and the decrease of VE/VA.(4) Considering the effects on cardiac structure and function, jogging intervention group is better than spinning in16weeks. So jogging maybe more suitable for middle-aged women to do.
