With the development of basic education in our country and the reform of the national education, change of teachers’ education concept and education mode and evaluation, puts forward the new requirements. Experts at home and abroad study found PCK level directly influence teachers’ teaching effect.In order to improve the effect of classroom teaching, In this paper, application of the American college of sven goran eriksson development of PCK assessment tools for novice high school chemistry teachers’PCK were investigated.To select representative of the M of the affiliated high school of Beijing normal university teachers in high school chemistry high quality video lesson 2014, Through a combination of classroom observation and questionnaire.The study of the status quo of high school chemistry teachers’ PCK and analysis.Mainly from the PCK of teaching content, students’ knowledge, the teaching strategies of high school chemistry teachers’ knowledge of the three main aspects of the ability of PCK has carried on the research and analysis, The 9 kinds of ability is the ability to identify the core concepts, ability to grasp the concept of relationship, have a good grasp of concept development, determine the students’ ability to understand the concept level, arranging courses, next to predict students’ ability of learning difficulties, ability to identify effective teaching strategy, adjust teaching strategies to adapt to the weaker students ability, strong ability to adjust teaching strategies to adapt to the students’ ability. And subject teaching knowledge of the investigation has carried on the quantitative analysis, it is concluded that the high school chemistry teachers in hubei province in PCK level of methane under the teaching task.Test results show that the following four points:1. The novice high school chemistry teachers’ PCK integrated level in the medium level, level have larger space2. The novice high school chemistry teacher’s PCK three dimensions are at medium level. Transverse compare novice high school chemistry teachers of three dimensions, the students had higher levels of knowledge, teaching content knowledge level, teaching strategy knowledge level the lowest.3. The novice high school chemistry teachers’ PCK nine ability level are at medium level. From scoring, new high school chemistry teachers’ ability of the 9 kinds of different levels, from high is in turn:identify the ability of effective teaching strategy, arranging courses next ability, ability to grasp the concept of development, to predict students’ ability of learning difficulties, judge the students’ ability to understand the level of the core concepts, adjust teaching strategies to adapt to the weaker students ability, ability to grasp the concept of relationship, identify the core concepts of the ability, strong ability to adjust teaching strategies to adapt to the students’ ability.4. Novice gender on high school chemistry teacher’s subject teaching knowledge level had no significant influence. Degree to the novice high school chemistry teacher’s subject teaching knowledge level have a significant impact, graduate degrees novice high school chemistry teacher’s subject teaching knowledge level is higher than novice bachelor’s degree of high school chemistry teacher.The conclusion to improve the level of high school novice chemistry teachers’ PCK ability provides reference.
