Pedagogical content knowledge is the knowledge about teachers how to convey the content knowledge he(she)mastered in a way that students easy to understand. It is a practical knowledge of teachers in the teaching profession, which having the most direct impact on teaching effectiveness. The teachers’pedagogical content knowledge will be optimized in the process of growing.In this paper, a case study of three teachers is accomplished. I study teachers’classroom teaching through classroom observation, learn the teachers thinking timely in lesson preparation, teaching through interviews, then analyz the data collected, and trying to answer two questions:(A) What are the characteristics between pedagogical content knowledge of novice teachers and skilled teachers? How is it performance? What’s the difference?(B)What ways are skilled teachers develop their pedagogical content knowledge? Finally, conclusions and recommendations is given according to the results of analysis.Through comparative analysis, I found a skilled teacher in chemistry to understand and grasp the target to build the system of subject knowledge and understanding of students, the use of teaching characterization methods and teaching methods more outstanding, but also skilled teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge development paths to understand.Finally, for comparative analysis, I propose the following:(1) To deepen the deep understanding of the chemistry to enhance the value of chemistry into the height of understanding of the chemistry, the development of dialectical evaluation of chemistry and its social role of education;(2) According to their own level of review, reading materials or books of Chemistry, University of, consolidate the basis of subject knowledge;(3) Emphasis on students’ knowledge in the pedagogical content knowledge"(4) To enhance self-confidence, to strengthen the writing on the blackboard exercises; to listen to the lessons of other teachers, after-school good at summing up and reflection.Emphasis on the role of collective lesson planning, and listened carefully to the views of the teachers participate in lesson preparation, and accelerate the upgrading of the level of pedagogical content knowledge.
