Plane analytic geometry as an important part of the high school mathematics curriculum, has attracted the attention of most teachers. Plane analytic geometry of the high school mathematics curriculum as an important part, which contains a wealth of mathematical culture and an important educational value, to improve their scientific and cultural knowledge and cultural literacy plays a key role. After the curriculum reform, with the active participation of all schools, teaching mode have been greatly improved. However, there are still some problems existing in teaching due to the deep-rooted traditional teaching method and limited understanding of the new curriculum standards. In this paper, the "Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(Experimental)" is taken as a guide,High School Plane Analytical Geometry(People’s Education Press A version)as the studying content and actual teachers and students as the survey target. During the process of investigating current high school plane analytic geometry teaching, research methods such as literature research, surveys, interviews and so on are applied to ensure the depth of the research. Based on the investigation when the students from the student’s understanding of the contents of the plane analytic geometry, analytic geometry student attitudes toward the plane of content, the demand for plane analytic geometry student teaching classroom, the students solve the problem of plane analytic geometry needs to start in four dimensions, When the survey for teachers from the high school math teacher plane analytic geometry content attitudes and awareness, teachers’ attitudes on the "ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards" and teaching materials, teachers choose teaching strategies and teaching methods, problem-solving ability of teachers to students Cultivation of the four dimensions of the start, plus interviews with teachers and students come to the following conclusions:The following conclusion has been drawn: Teachers are still basically applying the traditional single way of teaching-- the "indoctrination" teaching method. Ignoring the subjectivity of the students, student’s learning is still mainly in a passive situation. And the students’ interest in learning mathematics is not high enough to stimulate their initiative in study. Algebraic method is more prevalent in solving the problems than other ways. The analysis of the results of the interview survey, with the conducting by the "Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(Experimental)", based on the mathematics curriculum requirements, taking Bruner cognitive- Discover theory and constructivist theory as a guide, and joining others’ excellent outcome of research with author’s own findings, the following strategic suggestions are bring about to help the teaching of plane analytic geometry:(1) creating a rich learning environment to inspire students’ thinking(2) focusing on inquiry-based teaching, developing students’ creative thinking(3) integrating information technology and curriculum to illustrate geometry more intuitively(4) focusing on the role of geometry to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities.
