Yoga originates from India, now all the rage, exercising or cultivates the mind as a fashionable sport project, now there are a lot of schools have the course of a yoga class, such as the part of middle school in Hanyang.. But from the present situation of view, to carry out the insufficient standard of high school a yoga class, there is a lot to improve the problem. To hanyang middle school the research of this topic, the teaching of yoga and the yoga course of the development of wuhan. middle school can be a reference to a certain extent, in the promotion of hanyang has important significance in the promotion of yoga classes. At the same time, the yoga classes in other areas also laid a solid foundation.The yoga sutras, made clear that constraints, changes of the heart is yoga. It through the person’s breathing pranayama, body movement and the unity of body and mind gist to stimulate the body to restore itself, and to improve people’s health. Yoga as a fitness can be done indoors, also can undertake, outdoors in an elegant environment, lets the student in the quiet and tranquil artistic conception to the whole body movement, not only can let the students to keep fit, also can to their temperament cultivation and physical and mental health beneficial effects and help.Yoga as a new course, first introduced the middle school classroom, greatly enriched the middle school classroom teaching content, improve the children’s interest in learning. At the same time, yoga is as in a new direction of development of the new curriculum, put forward the development of education reform and curriculum to the nation provides the carrier. Yoga curriculum development and research of large opened the new idea of curriculum development.This study on the basis of teaching practice by using questionnaire, literature and statistical analysis, the current yoga classes of the present situation in hanyang middle school is studied. The following conclusions are drawn:1,The best of my survey of wuhan hanyang district middle school education syllabus and plans are used internally by the school, there is no unified scientific standards, a problem is the yoga teaching materials that are a direct result of diversification, but every school yoga teaching purpose tasks are basically clear. Main teaching contents, practice lesson as the basic position method, etc, but there is no special theory. Teaching methods is given priority to with the traditional teaching, examination ways are position test scores. Will tell from the teaching effect, to improve the students’ flexibility quality, mental state, temperament, form these aspects has a good effect, and to student’s self-confidence, expressive, exercise consciousness, etc have yet to play a big role.2, the wuhan hanyang city middle school yoga teachers are all very young, basic for just graduated from the school graduates, and yoga teaching experience for the following two years more; All for the female teacher; And most of the teachers are part-time coach, at the same time, on the other normal physical education; Basic reasonable teachers’ education level and professional title structure; Most yoga teachers received yoga way for self-study or in class.3, the school of yoga education condition is limited, can’t satisfy the need of teaching and learning, schools have outdoor yoga activities. From the hardware and software are in urgent need of improving, may be better to do a good job of teaching yoga.
