Physical education is an important part of schooling which push people establish the lifelong learning consciousness. PE teachers’professional happiness is not only related to itself, but also effect teaching quality and students’(especially the adolescents) health. The conditions and teaching resources in poor county schools are relatively insufficient, which will affect the sports teacher occupational well-being. PE teachers whether they can be competent for the job, their teaching capacity would be effectively has important significance.This study uses the literature analysis, questionnaire survey and other methods, surveys 122 middle school PE teachers in Tangxian of Hebei province. Using statistical software (SPSS17.0) to analyze data. The results are as follows:(1)The level of professional well-being of middle school PE teachers in Tangxian is low, which needs to be improved. The dimension of the score from the low to high are: material basis, self-esteem, his dignity, self realization, love and attribution, security, the overall level of competence in the medium. This is generally reflect the basic situation of poverty county school physical education teachers in middle schools:although basically qualified for the current work, but when the material basis for the most fundamental needs are not guaranteed, greatly influence the work of passion and occupational well-being sense.(2)Tang middle school PE teachers’s professional happiness significantly related in sex, age, seniority, finally education, school type, school region and monthly income and other factors. There are statistically significant differences in the gender, school type, region and a monthly income.(3) Strengthening teachers’continuing education and improving PE teachers’ability, are important measures to enhance the professional happiness. The relationship between the competency and the professional happiness was positive, especially for the dimensions of the students, professional quality and career preference. The competency of PE teachers not only has an important influence on the happiness, but also has some forecasting function to it.Suggestion:take more care of the PE teachers in poor counties; improve the teaching ability of PE teachers; promote the professional development to make teachers and students experience the progress and happiness together; cultivate the PE teachers to aware the importance of competence. Establish the recruitment system and the evaluation system of PE teacher.
