With the advent of the flipped classroom designed for students, blended learning and other new pattern of learning, as well as the construction of online learning platforms for the community, such as the network open courses, high quality curriculum, MOOC and so on, people can acquire knowledge in a more independent,vivid, rich and convenient way. Compared with other new forms of learning, the introduction of the learning video is the most effective mean during those personalized learning which rising the status of video in the study. In Big Data era, instructional video resources for learners are very abundant. Instructional designers and video developers need to work together and focus on how to attract numerous learners to click and learn the videos and which form of video can be most effective for teaching. A good learning video must be of wonderful teaching content as well as appropriate exhibition form. The form of video performance promotes and innovates with the development of technology. Virtual keying, video interactive, scenario simulation and other forms of instructional videos bring new learning experience for learner. With the maturity of the production and development of interactive video technology, applications of interactive video have gradually expanded and a rising trend has been shown in domestic and international research.Currently, the question-embedded interactive video appears frequently in many well-known learning websites at home and abroad. Basing on the review and analysis of relevant literature, the author proposes the following hypotheses:the question-embedded interactive video has a positive effect; different types of problems will affect the learning. Based on those two assumptions, we designed and implemented both experiments and eventually analyze the data to verify the hypothesis.The final results showed that he question-embedded interactive video have a positive impact on learning, and the effective factor is the interactive activities in the video; The application of questions of technical knowledge in question-embedded interactive video can significantly improve student achievement, but the types of questions have no significant effect to students’cognitive load and learning satisfaction. The results of this experiment are supposed to be the reference in making choice of the types of questions during the creation of similar videos for the educationists.
