Based on the demand of quality education, the education need to face to all students, improved the students’ comprehensive quality. Paper stereo modelling in the junior middle school art curriculum is a comprehensive practice course, in the modelling, performance, design, application and comprehensive exploration and other fields of study are involved, it is to improve the students’ ability of many aspects, all have very important meaning of education. Through paper stereo modelling teaching can not only develop the students’ ability of observation and modelling ability, practical ability and aesthetic ability, But also stimulate students’ creative thinking and design consciousness, improved their creation ability, and enhance environmental awareness. This topic is to follow the basic idea of new curriculum standard, fine arts of primary and secondary schools in Dewey’s theory of "learning by doing" pragmatism, Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligence theory and piaget’s constructivism on the basis of the research. This article through to the junior middle school teaching art paper the three-dimensional modelling corresponding investigation and analysis are made to the implementation, aimed at the problems to improve the teaching effect has carried on the exploration and research, and puts forward some ideas and strategies of the individual, is better for the fine arts teaching, improving teaching quality to provide policy advice, so as to promote the all-round development of students.This paper consists of five parts. The first part is based on the requirement of quality education and the analysis of the present situation of domestic junior middle school fine arts curriculum research background, the research purpose and significance, and theoretical basis are expounded. The second part, separately from the meaning and the development, type and material performance characteristic, composing characteristics and basic techniques of explain the concept of stereo modelling art paper. The third part, from teacher’s teaching, student learning, teachers’ quality of paper stereo modelling art in art teaching in junior middle school application present situation has carried on the investigation and analysis, and find the existing problems. Is the fourth part, according to the junior middle school art paper stereo modelling art teaching the existing problems and put forward the innovation of the corresponding teaching strategies. The fifth part summarizes the full text, and put forward the authors for the purpose of this article research the deficiencies and to be desired.
