The questionnaires, including Sensation Seeking Scale(SSS), Risk Behavior and Father Parenting Style, were used for investigating the situation of the teenagers. The situation and characteristics of sensation seeking would be known, and the relationship of sensation seeking, positive risky-behavior and father-parenting would be discussed. The development of sensation seeking and positive risky-behavior tendency of adolescents should be led correctly. By providing academic support for adolescents’ risk behavior and the parenting way of father, several valid and feasible proposals were given to improve the development of sensation seeking and risk behavior of adolescents and promote the teenagers forming favorable risky-behavior.The questionnaires were given out to 632 students of 5 secondary schools in Nanning, Guangxi. One of the questionnaires, the Sensation Seeking Scale of Adolescents, was revised into 24 items which were translated from the Zuckerman’s SSS-V, including three subscales, Experience Seeking(ES), Thrill Seeking(TS) and Boredom Susceptibility(BS). The collected data were analyzed with the following results:1. The sensation seeking, risk behavior and father parenting of adolescents showed significant differences on the demographic variables, such as gender, age, family status and the educational level of father.2. The scores of risk behavior of adolescents as a whole were same as the norm, but it showed differences between each level of sensation seeking which divided by this study.3. The total score of Sensation Seeking Scale of Adolescents was significantly correlated with severe punishment, excessive interference subscale; the Experience Seeking subscale was significantly correlated with warmth and understanding, favoring subject, overprotection and the total score of father parenting style questionnaire; Thrill Seeking subscale was significantly correlated with warmth and understanding, excessive interference, favoring subject, overprotection and the total score of father parenting style questionnaire; others had none significant correlation.4. The risk behavior of adolescents was significantly correlated with warmth and understanding, excessive interference, favoring subject and the total score of father parenting style questionnaire, while other subscales showed no correlation.5. The warmth and understanding, excessive interference subscales can positively predict the risk behavior of adolescents, while favoring subject subscale negatively predicted the risk behavior of adolescents.6. The warmth and understanding subscale positively predicted Thrill Seeking subscale, whereas negatively predicted Experience Seeking and Boredom Susceptibility subscales; favoring subject positively predicted Thrill Seeking subscale, whereas negatively predicted Thrill Seeking and Boredom Susceptibility subscales; excessive interference subscale positively predicted Thrill Seeking and Boredom Susceptibility subscales.7. Experience Seeking and Thrill Seeking subscales had partly mediating effect on warmth and understanding subscale.Based on the results above, teachers and fathers should pay attention to dealing with the risk behavior which was taken by adolescents. Specific methods can be put on adolescents with different gender, age and family background. Fathers must display their positive model role for providing correct directions of developing the positive risky-behavior of adolescents.
