The Research About Mongolian Primary School’s Fraction Education

Fraction is the main content and basic knowledge of primary school mathematics as well as the practical material to solve the daily tasks. Fraction education is the main route to get the knowledge of fraction, because it serves for the fraction knowledge transmission. Teachers guide students in the classroom, so that makes it possible for them to understand and use it into practice. In this way, student’s can explore their own ability, creativity, thinking and cooperative skills. Based on this kind of understanding, I did the survey of primary school fraction knowledge, using my nearly decade of primary school mathematics teaching experience. Many existed problems are mentioned, and personal suggestions are given in my research.This article consists of the following five components:Chapter one:Introduction. Describes the purpose and significance, research status, research methods and innovations.Chapter two:Main contents of fraction. Describes the origin and classification of fraction, requirement and main content of standard textbooks. The fraction is consisting of average allocation, proportion needs, measuring and division the natural number. Fractions are divided into simple and complex fraction. The article describes the score with its knowledge structure, presentation, and material terms of context, characterization form and cognitive diagnosis.Chapter three:The design of Mongolian teaching school fraction education questionnaire and related analysis. Analyzed the existing problems of Mongolian teaching primary school’s fraction education by the investigation of teachers and students:Teachers’fraction knowledge and teaching skills are limited by textbook. There is no research of new teaching methods which may enable students to understand the knowledge of fraction more easily and quickly; students’understanding of fraction knowledge are a little poor, so that they have difficulties in the application. Research each stage of the fraction education, find the existed problems, and give related suggestions, so that the effect of fraction education can be developed.Chapter four:Fraction teaching strategies and case studies. Provide appropriate teaching strategies and teaching cases to four important stages of primary knowledge of fraction:"The initial understanding of fraction ", " know the meaning of fraction", "the addition and subtraction of fraction " and " fraction applications".Chapter five:The summary and related recommendation of Mongolian primary school fraction education research. Students can master the key point of fraction knowledge and then applicant it correct or not, it is all depends on how to guide students to get the knowledge.
