With abundant connotations and distinct characteristics,the fraction,which is an important content of primary mathematics,is always an emphasis and difficulty part in teaching.Novice teachers are facing obstacles in fraction teaching,including not deep or penetrating enough in textbook studying,overdependence on the textbook,and lacking consideration of students’ learning conditions when doing teaching design.Meanwhile,incorrect use of textbook is also limiting novice teachers’ the professional developments.In addition,PEP version textbook is widely used,and affects a large number of teachers and students,however,the fraction composing in which is not good enough.Based on above mentioned the abilities of the novice teachers and the shortage of the PEP vision textbook,this research will deeply study the fraction example in PEP vision textbook in both surface and depth analysis aspects by means of documentary method,content analysis method and investigation method,and form a feasible teaching suggestion on fraction example,so to enhance novice teachers’ abilities on fraction example teaching using textbook.This research is mainly aimed to provide teaching advices in lesson preparation for novice teachers.The advices are mainly divided into two parts: firstly,the surface advices of fraction sample,the quantity,material,illustration and leaving note can be slightly adjusted according to students’ learning condition and teaching atmosphere,fraction samples in each unit should comply with the systematicness and logicality of fraction knowledge and be adjusted accordingly;secondly,the deep advices of fraction sample,the composing of fraction concept example and fraction calculation example is reasonable in the PEP edition textbook in typicality,demonstrativeness and processing mode aspects,and could be followed for teaching,however,there is still a big problem on the processing mode in the fraction problem solving examples,a big adjustment is needed in the problem solving phase,that is,adjust to four phases of Polia Solving Theory rather than three phases.This research can help novice teachers to relieve misunderstandings and doubts in fraction sample teaching and move toward mature teaching faster and better. |
