| One of the important functions of higher education is personnel training, it can reflect the management features and concepts of college. In the early 20 th century, social transformation was proceeding in Germany. Bauhaus was founded at that time as a design art school. Towards the industrial age from manual era, founders of the Bauhaus were driven by the idea "for design, for the country", working hard and struggling to train new designers as well as exploring a qualified designer training model to adapt to the times. Bauhaus qualified designer training is affected and restricted by social, economic and cultural factors of Germany. Bauhaus has its own characteristics in personnel training concept and education practice. Bauhaus cultivates a large number of design professionals and it makes important contributions to the development of modern design. To study Bauhaus design ideas and practices and also its achievements in-depth is beneficial to summarize its useful experience and understand design talents training regularity. It has great theoretical and practical significance for the design talents reform. This paper analyzes ideas of Bauhaus personnel training, education practice reforms based on pedagogy and design and also makes design talents training as the theme. The paper sums up its distinguishing features, providing references for design reform of the talents training in China.This paper spreads out with six chapters. Introduction briefly analyzes the research background of this thesis and research status at home and abroad. It points out the research value and research methods. The second part enters from the innovation of art thoughts and practice and the prosperous Weimar culture, as well as Walter Gropius’ s thoughts. It analyses the origin of the foundation of Bauhaus in-depth in order to integrally grasp Bauhaus design talentstraining model and its characteristics. The third part focuses on the evolution of the concept of Bauhaus design talents-training. From 1919 the founding period to 1922 the exploration period of Bauhaus, the Bauhaus established "combination of arts and crafts" as its school mission, and also raised a slogan that design and design education was "for the mass and for the country"; From 1923 to 1933 is the period of industrialization, the Bauhaus develops a new way "art and technology: a new unified" under the influence of various factors. The fourth chapter mainly focuses on the analysis of Bauhaus design talents achievements. It analyzes effects and features from the field of design education and design scopes. The last chapter is about theoretical reflection. Firstly, it utilizes educational theory to sum up the factors that influences Bauhaus design talents cultivation. Secondly, it sums up the cultivation features from three aspects of training philosophy, curriculum and teaching methods. That is it emphasizes on social responsibility of design education and acclimates the times; cultivation of comprehensive ability and creativity of curriculum content; flexible teaching and " teach, study and Social Practice" integration of teaching; this part sums up enlightenments to the reform of colleges based on the analysis of Bauhaus design talents cultivation. That is to update educational concept, adapt to the social development, improve teaching contents, emphasize comprehensive development, improve teaching methods, advocate diversity teaching.The innovation of this paper is that: it analyzes the development tracks of Bauhaus design talents training ideas and educational practices from two perspectives of education and art. The paper explores Bauhaus design education trends systematically.
