As a major part of the kindergarten courses, the content of the teaching activities is a significant mean to achieve the goal of teaching and learning activity. Especially for those kindergartens in rural area, in which are base on collective learning in classroom. Choosing teaching activity is the core of curriculum design, and it will affects the quality of the rural kindergartens directly. The kindergartens in ethnic areas, for one thing, which is short of manpower, material and financial capabilities that the level of kindergartens is lag far behind more the economically developed areas. For another, due to a deep ethnic cultural heritage, the rural kindergartens have more incomparable advantages than other areas. Against such a backdrop, this paper investigates how to choose the content of the teaching activities of the nursery school, and it suggests that make best use of the rich ethic culture and bypass the disadvantages. It is vital to promote the kindergartens" teaching quality in rural ethnic areas.Take Fuchuan Yao autonomous county of Guangxi as an example. where Yao nationalities live in compact community. This paper applies the methods of literature, interview and observation to investigation. We choose four representative nursery schools in Fuchuan Yao autonomous county to analyze the results and problems in the process of choosing teaching activities. Based on the fact that Fuchuan located in ethic region, some suggestions for solving the problems are given, and explore how to integrate the national culture into the teaching activities.
