Research On Teaching Activities’ Contents In Ethnic Rural Areas

As a major part of the kindergarten courses, the content of the teaching activities is a significant mean to achieve the goal of teaching and learning activity. Especially for those kindergartens in rural area, in which are base on collective learning in classroom. Choosing teaching activity is the core of curriculum design, and it will affects the quality of the rural kindergartens directly. The kindergartens in ethnic areas, for one thing, which is short of manpower, material and financial capabilities that the level of kindergartens is lag far behind more the economically developed areas. For another, due to a deep ethnic cultural heritage, the rural kindergartens have more incomparable advantages than other areas. Against such a backdrop, this paper investigates how to choose the content of the teaching activities of the nursery school, and it suggests that make best use of the rich ethic culture and bypass the disadvantages. It is vital to promote the kindergartens" teaching quality in rural ethnic areas.Take Fuchuan Yao autonomous county of Guangxi as an example. where Yao nationalities live in compact community. This paper applies the methods of literature, interview and observation to investigation. We choose four representative nursery schools in Fuchuan Yao autonomous county to analyze the results and problems in the process of choosing teaching activities. Based on the fact that Fuchuan located in ethic region, some suggestions for solving the problems are given, and explore how to integrate the national culture into the teaching activities. This paper includes five parts:Ⅰ Introduction By reviewing the sources, applications and documents, the thesis paper discuss the reasons of the research, purpose, core definition,overview of previous research and methods.Ⅱ Theory to sort out the policy documents.books of many scholars and literatures on the education of nursery schools, and to provide theory for the choose of teaching activities in ethnic rural areas kindergartens.Ⅲ Objective make a brief introduction of the four representative nursery schools in Fuchuan. According to Mr. Zhang Dainian’s classifications of culture, we make an arrangement and classification of the Fuchu culture that based on its characteristics. In line with the principle of teaching activities, we make a simple screen and cut some cultures that are not suitable in teaching activities in kindergartens.Ⅳ Situation analysis by the methods of observation and interview, we investigate four aspects in Fuchuan, like the teaching sources, values, contents and the development of national cultures. It presents the status of teaching activities in rural kindergartens in Fuchuan at this stage. It analyzes the current situation, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages.Ⅴ Attribution analysis making a complete analysis on the factors that affects the teaching activities, which explore the root of the problems that Fuchuan is facing in teaching activities and provide a realistic basis for the follow-up suggestions.Ⅵ Suggestion based on the comprehensive analysis on the factors of kindergarten teaching activities at this stage in Fuchuan, this paper presents proposals for improvement. This paper focus on how to make use of the national cultures enriches the teaching activities in kindergartens, thus improve the quality of teaching and learning activities in kindergartens.
