With the development of science and technology,the human has gradually entered the knowledge economy era and the knowledge has become the important resources in the social development. In colleges and universities,as the gathering place of knowledge collection and transformation,people has paid more and more attention to its knowledge management day by day. However,the dominant and implicit knowledge management is very different. With the development of the high technology,the management of the dominant knowledge has been more and more mature which has made a tremendous contribution to the improvement of the core competitiveness in colleges and universities. When it comes to the tacit knowledge, as the most potential part of the knowledge, some scholars have conducted researches and analysis from different angels and using different methods to manage it, promote its sharing, take advantage of it and improve the core competence of colleges.On the basis of previous studies and from the perspective of theory and practice,the paper has discussed the present situation and the main influence factors of the sharing of tacit knowledge from the angel of the trust between teachers and students and the sharing of tacit knowledge. The paper has used the statistical methods of questionnaire survey,factor analysis,regression analysis,T test,ANOVA analysis. It has tried to analyze the main factors that has impeded the sharing of the tacit knowledge such as the factors of the main bodies,the objective factors,the shared motives and the environmental factors. As the breakthrough point,the paper has concluded and discussed the survey results,and then,tried to find the methods of improving the core competence of colleges and universities from the perspective of knowledge management, to break through the bottleneck of its improvement.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter makes a general introduction about the background,significance,design,methods,and innovations of this study. The second chapter defines the important concepts involved in this research first,and then makes a systematic literature review by means of the summarization of the relevant literature in order to pave the way for the later study. The third chapter makes an analysis of the importance of tacit knowledge sharing to enhance the core competence of colleges and universities from knowledge management theory,university core competence theory,and social exchange theory. The forthchapter further analyzes the importance of the ascension in the core competence of colleges and universities from tacit knowledge sharing,and followed by the summary of the above contents,and then,puts forward several assumptions about the main factors influencing tacit knowledge sharing in colleges and universities.The fifth chapter is the core part of this study. It applies questionnaire survey,factor analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and difference test. And it has carried out the comparison and analysis of the data of the two school from different angles.The sixth chapter generally summarized the conclusions of this study,analyzes the deficiencies during current research,then discusses and explores the problems in the study.
